Sept 18 – 20 will be held for a make up date for a rain out during the season. The schedule will give us maximum exposure for the entire summer with only 1 extended period of “no racing” which is necessitated by the STATE FAIR preparation and clean-up.
Track Rules!
MCID is a 1/8-mile asphalt drag strip. We use a Chrondek timing system from Daktronics. All runs are logged and individually printed for racers. All time slips will be picked up by the racers.
MCID is not responsible for time slips not picked up after your run. If you believe a problem has occurred bring time slip and opponent to the tower. MCID Track Officials will make the call on all reruns. Track officials from the starting line and tower watch each run. All racers are given a time trial run on an elimination day. Car count will increase trial runs.
The track will be tacked for your trial runs, so your dial-in can be as close as you feel your car will run.
If rain would occur between time trials and elimination rounds the track officials will make the call on track prep. MCID Officials and management work long hours and make calls for your safety.
We want everyone to enjoy the racing weekend.
